If someone had told me 12 years ago that my career path would lead me into the fitness industry to the degree it has, I would have laughed. At the time I had finished my criminology degree from Simon Fraser and was enrolled in law school at UBC. I definitely thought that law was the career path laid before me. Within a very short period of time, I knew that law was not the profession for me and although fitness was always a passion, I never thought it could be a sustainable career choice. 
Over the years, I became more and more involved in the fitness industry as a group fitness leader and later as a personal trainer. This passion for fitness, also lead to years of competing in figure competitions on a provincial and national level.  My goal as a personal trainer has always been to motivate, inspire and educate others about the benefits of exercising and living a healthy lifestyle. I strive to create a personal relationship with all my clients. I am here to provide encouragement, confidence, motivation and strength to help you reach your fitness goals.
After years of competing, I knew it was time for a change and time for a new challenge. This is how I became involved in CrossFit and Engineered Bodies. What first appealed to me about Engineered Bodies and Anthony’s approach to Crossfit, was the sense of community and family. Loud motivational cheering followed by sweaty high five’s is the norm. Your achievements are just as exciting to your fellow CrossFitters as they are to you. I thought that after years of teaching group fitness classes and training for competitions, I was in pretty good shape, but I soon came to find out otherwise. I got my butt kicked in less than 10 minutes of my first WOD (workout of the day); I felt like my lungs were on fire! It was at that moment that I knew I was hooked and knew that I would never go back to my traditional training after that first workout. CrossFit is everything that embodies fitness: strength, speed, power, agility, endurance, stamina, flexibility, balance, accuracy and coordination. CrossFit unleashes my inner athlete as I know it will unleash yours.
