 Ellen is an undergraduate student studying Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University, with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. Currently, she is working towards becoming a fully certified personal trainer and weightlifting coach. She is a provincial level Olympic weightlifter with the hopes of competing on a National level.
For over two years, weightlifting has been her primary focus. She is committed to coaching young athletes so they can build a strong physical foundation in weightlifting. Her goal is to develop Olympic weightlifting in the community and make it more accessible for those with a desire to learn.
Ellen has been a member of Engineered Bodies since the age of 16 and considers this community her family. It has changed her life for the better and she wants to help others discover positive change, both physically and mentally. Her commitment lies in movement education and empowering others to find their own strength.

  • Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Level 1
  • Onnit Academy Foundations Trainer
  • National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Olympic Weightlifting Club Coach, Level 1, “Trained”
