Samantha is a passionate whole food advocate who follows Paleo/Primal lifestyle. She believes food can heal your body and mind. Samantha loves to share her passion for food and cooking, and teaching clients how to make quick, nutritious meals when pressed for time. An organic food gardner, she experiments with the plants that grow best in her community garden plot; spaghetti squash, zucchini, winter squash and grapes are the current winners.
Samantha became interested in wellness, stress and the role of food in health after losing her father to a sudden heart attack in 2000. She has explored and studied Reiki, meditation and Ki training, and spent countless hours researching food and its interactions with health, as well as experimenting in the kitchen. Recently, she graduated from Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a Health Coach, and is now a certified Primal Blueprint Expert.
Samantha was trained as a mechanical engineer and worked in the field of sustainability and energy planning. She still works on engineering projects occasionally, while pursuing her passion of helping people make significant and lasting changes in their life through food and lifestyle. She has also attended the Ido Portal Corset Seminar and can be found teaching mobility-strength class at EB from time to time.
